Interpreter Information Sheet

The following form is required to apply for employment as an interpreter at the IRB. For more information on being an interpreter at IRB, please consult the Interpreter Handbook.

Eligibility criteria

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent;
  • Professional references (minimum of two).
  • Compliance with the rules that are set out in the Code of Conduct for Interpreters.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The following form in editable PDF format can be completed and printed through a personal computer. Once printed, the completed form must be sent by courier, by regular mail, by fax or hand delivered to one of our regional offices located nearest you. Forms or related attachments sent by e-mail will not be processed.

Please include your CV with the form. The form must be printed on 8½ x 14 inch paper.
